Oral - Jadyn

Jadyn did a fantastic oral today. He did a puppet show for us. Jadyn sang songs and used different voices for all the different puppets. He even got the children involved in some parts. Well done on a great Pirate puppet show.

 

Oral - Brandon and Priyesh

Brandon did a dialogue today using 2 homemade puppets named Captain Pat and Pete the Parrot.

Priyesh also did a dialogue with 2 homemade puppets named Mad Dog and Captain Crook.

Well done to our certificate winners for this week.

Orals - Keira and Harini

Keira did show and tell for her oral today. She had a Pirate Ship craft that she showed the children how to make. She had all the parts of her Pirate Ship separate. She then assembled them infront of the children to make her Ship.

Harini also did Show and tell. She gave all the children in the class a piece of newspaper and a picture with a skull and crossbones. She then proceeded with her oral. Harini made (with the rest of the children) a paper fold pirate hat. Very creative. Good work.

Welcome back

Welcome back to the Third term.

This term our theme is Pirates and we are having a lot of fun learning about them.
Some of the things we have done this term so far include:

• Dressing up like pirates and coming up with our own silly pirate names.
• We have made our own portholes to put on our windows in our ship (Classroom).
• We even wrote our own Pirate Code of Conduct and drew ourselves as scary pirates.

We look forward to doing many more interesting pirate activities. 

Orals - Melissa and Nikita

Today was the start of our Pirate Orals.

Nikita did a show and tell pirate hat for her oral. She explained step by step how to make the hat and showed us examples. At the end she showed us the finished product. Well done Nikita on a great show and tell.

Melissa did a facts article on Pirates. She shared facts and the rules she would have if she were the Captain of her own Ship. She Had a bit of story to go with it. Well done Melissa on a good oral.
